Role Overview:

Contract Type: Full-Time Contract (Mexico-based, long-term engagement)

Location: Remote – Mexico only

Eligibility: Must have valid work authorization in Mexico (Mexican citizen or authorized to work in Mexico without sponsorship).

Key Responsibilities:

• Support development of backend services and APIs using Node.js.
• Assist with deployment workflows, CI/CD, and infrastructure tasks (including exposure to Terraform).
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across application and infrastructure layers.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on architecture and implementation.

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and backend development (fundamental APIs preferred); Python experience is a plus.
• Foundational understanding of APIs, backend services, and DevOps basics.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and learning agility.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to GenAI or AI tools/projects.
• Basic experience with cloud platforms.
• Basic knowledge of Docker.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
• Interest in tools such as Amazon Bedrock.
• Familiarity with containerization or CI/CD tools.
