Role Overview

DigitalT3 is seeking a motivated Associate Product Owner to join our innovative team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or professionals transitioning into product ownership who are passionate about technology, agile methodologies, and AI-driven product development. You will work under the mentorship of senior product professionals while contributing to real product initiatives and gaining hands-on experience in modern product management practices. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead in gathering and documenting product requirements, product visioning, suggestions to and from stakeholders and customers 
• Lead creation and maintenance of the product backlog under senior guidance 
• Write clear user stories with acceptance criteria for development teams 
• Participate actively in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and QA testers 
• Learn and apply Agile and Scrum principles in daily work 
• Lead in product roadmap planning and feature prioritization discussions 
• Conduct market and competitor research to support product decisions 
• Use AI tools to automate routine tasks such as meeting summaries and documentation 
• Support customer feedback collection and analysis initiatives 

Candidate Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field 
• 6 months – 2 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or related roles understanding deliverables 
• Basic understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment 
• Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities 

Technical Skills & AI Competencies 

• Core Technical Skills: 
  • Familiarity with product management tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar) 
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace 
  • Data analysis skills using Excel or Google Sheets 
• AI Tools & Knowledge (Required): 
  • Hands-on experience with ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI assistants for documentation, brainstorming and product visioning/building 
  • Prompt engineering skills to generate product requirements/visions and user stories 
  • Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools (Grammarly, Notion AI, or similar) 
  • Understanding of AI concepts and terminology (ML, LLMs, training data) 
  • Awareness of AI ethics, bias detection, and responsible AI practices 
• Preferred AI Skills: 
  • Experience with AI analytics tools  
  • Understanding of no-code/low-code AI platforms  
  • Exposure to AI product features (recommendations, personalization, chatbots)
