Contract Type: Full-Time Contract (40 hrs/week – long-term engagement)

Location: Remote – Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Pondicherry (India) + Sri Lanka (Colombo)

Job Description 

We’re looking for a Software Engineer who is excited to build production-grade software with AI as a core part of the development process. In this role, you’ll implement full-stack features, integrate AI-powered capabilities, and work closely with senior engineers to deliver scalable enterprise solutions. You’ll be expected to bring solid fundamentals and a genuine curiosity for how AI can make teams faster and products smarter. 

Role Overview

Full Stack Development 

• Implement full-stack features using React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript on the frontend, and Python (FastAPI) and/or Node.js on the backend. 
• Build and maintain REST APIs and integrate third-party services. 
• Write unit and integration tests; participate actively in code reviews. 
• Work within an Agile delivery model, using Jira for planning, tracking, and reporting. 
• Collaborate with senior engineers on system design and architecture decisions. 
• Deploy applications using CI/CD pipelines; contribute to pipeline improvements. 
• Use Docker for local development and basic containerization tasks. 

AI Engineering 

• Integrate LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) into product features. 
• Write and iterate on prompts to build reliable AI-powered features. 
• Work with senior engineers to build and test LLM pipelines. 
• Use AI coding tools (Copilot, Claude, etc.) to increase development velocity. 
• Stay current with fast-moving developments in GenAI tooling and best practices. 

Candidate Requirements 

• 3–4 years of software engineering experience. 
• Solid full-stack development skills using React.js (or similar) and Python or Node.js. 
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs. 
• Exposure to cloud services — AWS, GCP, or Azure (Lambda, EC2, S3, or equivalents). 
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines. 
• Experience using GenAI tools to boost productivity. 
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile team using Jira. 

Good to Have 

• Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) or basic prompt engineering. 
• Familiarity with RAG concepts or vector databases. 
• Exposure to LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks. 
• Experience with Kubernetes or infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform).
